All three Trackers are receiving a firmware update. This update contains the most popular feature request for Tracker, “looping on parts of a pattern”, the new anniversary display theme, and a lot of fixes.

New Features

  • Feature Reuqest: Loop a selection until stopped
    • Shift + Play now loops the selected section of a pattern until playback is stopped
    • If 1 bar is selected, playback now starts at the selected bar
  • New 10th Anniversary UI theme
    • Change themes in Config > Display

Download the Tracker+ Firmware:

Download the Tracker Mini Firmware:

Download the Tracker Firmware:
PolyendTracker_1.9.2.1480b.ptf.zip (890.6 KB)

  1. Download and extract the firmware file linked above.
  2. Copy the .ptf firmware file to your Tracker SD card > Firmware folder.
  3. Save your current project to avoid any potential data loss.
  4. Navigate to Config > Firmware > Update Firmware > .ptf file.
  5. Press Select and confirm with Yes.

I’m curious if I’m the only one having issues with usb audio out on the mini. When I tried to record a clip of a track I was working on it worked once, then kept crashing. Strongly regret not reporting it here sooner. Wish I could still monitor the performance as I’m recording it as well. Aside from that I haven’t had many issues, but I’d like to post more content on social media and this does slow things down a bit. The anniversary model looks absolutely stunning btw, I regret not waiting every day now lol.

Have to admit, I was starting to think we might not see many more major bug fixes having seen how long some of the bug report threads had been sitting around. Credit where its due though, this looks like a gigantic improvement. Looking forward to testing it out.

I noticed a bug in this new firmware on the Mini. When you press shift+note, where you should see the notes above the 8 keys, it’s just black now.

So far noted the preview is working much better now. I test with a four hour long file, which is extreme, but it turns out cropped import is a powerful efficiency feature. There remains a small bug. If the the start/ end point are identical or very close, the preview button action will load noise into the sound playback buffer and freeze the unit. Perhaps a fix would be not allowing start and end to be equal, or setting a minimum range. Thank you all. Love to Poland. Down with oligarchist incursions!

Hiya. The bug isn’t happening for me now, which is weird… If it does it again I’ll snap a photo and upload.

update: the bugs comes from turning dial and pressing preview at same time.
