Allow tracks turn into audio or MIDI, add eq graphics and compressor and a built-in preset for the Delay and Reverb in the Master/Tracks

Woah there - slow your horses!

That’s a lot of wishes in one go. First - please read how wishes work first and then please read how to write a good/complete feature request.

You’ll see that a wish should be a singular feature and per device ideally.

Now… regarding your wishes:

I would prefer the tracker to allow users to change the audio or MIDI in all tracks. Options use up to 16 MIDI or audio tracks rather than the current layout.

There have been multiple similar wishes (for play and tracker) for this:

• Double the polyphonic power as a MIDI sequencer
• Tracker+ / Mini - Sacrifice synth slots for additional polyphonic sample instrument(s)
• Possibility to use all 16 tracks for samples
• More MIDI Tracks 16 perhaps?
• Second MIDI sequencer page, 16 MIDI tracks in total
• Dedicated Tracks for the Synth-Engines

They either all got declined for technical reasons or them not fitting Polyends product vision.

A current draft wish that is in review, attempts to do something similar though based on the current capabilities (without trying to extend the amount of tracks available):

Visibility/Invisibility of tracks

What is the problem? Many users may find it very confusing, stressful, messy or unclean to have many tracks visible, which are not used. What should this feature achieve? Change the default layout or give option, to only show/visible desired tracks and then the end-user would add the tracks 1-by-1. Most daws work the same way with only a few tracks and then you build-up the composition. Example: Ableton Live would allow 1024 tracks, but you would normally only initiate the tracks, which you…

Maybe you could see yourself supporting this, in the future - if it gets approved?

Add a compressor and built-in EQ Graphics in Instruments Parameters to individual tracks. Give people the freedom to use Reverb or Delay individually rather than the Master Track.

Things are very similar here. There’s a a couple wishes that attempted something similar:

• Different effects for different tracks
• Simple per-instrument EQ on the new-gen Tracker+ and Mini
• Compressor/limiter with send amounts
• Set instruments in or out of sidechained limiter

Again, these either can’t be done because of technical limitation and or them veering off of Polyends design vision.

There’s currently no actual wish that attempts the same, but there is something adjacent in review:

Exchangable Master Effects

What is the problem? Limited effects. Yes technical limitations but perhaps we can work within those limitations to provide some other option… Reverb and Delay are both provided, and it is understandable why we have been limited to two effects. However, given that the tracker can clearly handle time-based effects, how about implementing a few others to choose from (as alternatives)? For instance flanger, phaser, and chorus which are practically delay albeit modulated. What should this featur…
