Tracker Mini’s note input mode adds the ability to toggle the 8 buttons under the screen to input or preview 8 different notes.

Thanks for this, always good to see updates and fixes!
Hopefully a fix still in the works, but Step Repeater still adversely affects Tune when in Performance mode, constantly stepping the tuning up through the scale. I’ve reported in the bugs section, but mentioning it here to raise profile too.

Fixed links:

OFF/FAD/CUT was not pasting when copying from tracks 1-8 into tracks 9-16

Glitches could appear on game screens

Gave it a brief 2 hour run.

So far

  • Game graphic glitches fixed
  • Reverb inactive after game mode fixed
  • Copy OFF/CUT/FAD in midi tracks fixed
  • Sample editor overwrites slot1 fixed
  • Metronome link in sample rec fixed

And no new bugs :sign_of_the_horns:

Also, alot less performance glitches than 1.0.3 and the last beta (like double trigger of samples when playing the pads resulting in weird stereo phase sound, i cannot reproduce this anymore) and more relilable live recording (first step after metronome count in is still sometimes not played back but also better).
Perhaps you coincidental fixed a few things more while merging

Nice progress! Thanks @miropoly and the dev team

Notes below C3 are still inaccessible in note input mode on Mini, so we still can’t play beat slices 1-12. Do you consider fixing it in final release or plan to make general changes in beat slicing?

@borsuk

I mess with the root note. Set it to C1 and it is usable! I thought I wasn’t understanding something on the tracker but your post made me realize it’s maybe an issue

It works, thanks man! Still feels kinda awkward tho…

can you explain how you got it to work, when I set it to c1, it still only plays one slice across the 8 buttons when in note input mode

slice 1 is C2, not C1

Do you understand why it is C2 the first slice? I don’t get it.

Congratulations on merging the two betas! When I first saw that you had two unmerged betas I was thinking what a tricky place that can be, and did not envy your engineers or engineering managers. Hopefully this massive achievement will usher in a GA release soon!

Has anyone else had an issue with the new tracker + beta and crashing? I’ve had this happen several times to where the screen freezes and the unit emits a buzzing/static sound. It also won’t power off and has to be unplugged to make it stop. I use the mini more often so I haven’t been paying attention really to what happens beforehand in order to find a reproducible bug but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this same issue?
