This beta firmware merges the sampling over USB feature and the new Tracker Mini input note mode betas together.
New Features
Tracker+ and Tracker Mini:
- Updated sampling over USB with an option to select USB in the sample recorder
Fixes
- Pressing Metronome Config in the sample recorder lead to USB Config
- Reverb was inactive after exiting a game
- Glitches could appear on game screens
- Instrument MIDI Mapping list was off by 3 places
- Previewing the overdrive effect in Sample Editor overwrote the first loaded Instrument
- OFF/FAD/CUT was not pasting when copying from tracks 1-8 into tracks 9-16
Tracker Mini Only:
- Scale parameter for Random Note FX were missing in Project Settings
- Middle D-Pad button opened the Menu on the Song page
- Improve visibility of focus indicator(rectangle) in bright outdoor environments
- Pressing the input button in note mode caused the sound to stop
- Note selections wrapped incorrectly
- Note Input mode triggered the wrong root note in Beat Slice mode
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Download the Tracker+ Firmware:

Download the Tracker Mini Firmware:
TrackerMini_2.1.0.1400b.ptf.zip (1.6 MB)
- Download and extract the firmware file linked above.
- Copy the .ptf firmware file to your Tracker SD card > Firmware folder.
- Save your current project to avoid any potential data loss.
- Navigate to Config > Firmware > Update Firmware > .ptf file.
- Press Select and confirm with Yes.
How to Sample via USB
- Connect the device to a USB host.
- Select USB audio output in the config>USB to output audio to Tracker via USB.
- Open the Sample Recorder and Select USB to record USB audio.
Note Mode Operation
Tracker Mini’s note input mode adds the ability to toggle the 8 buttons under the screen to input or preview 8 different notes.
- On the pattern screen press
Shift
+Note
to toggle note input mode - The set of notes available can be changed by holding
Note
and using the D-pad to select 8 notes in a row. - Set a note scale in the project settings to change the available notes. The root note selection is the note in the lower leftmost corner.
