This is really frustrating me, I’m trying to do an arrangement which involves copying the synth parts and editing them, and I have to re-add the OFF commands everytime I paste. This bug is happening even when I am copying grid blocks in the Song/Arranger mode…
I just tried to reproduce this, and even though this wasn’t a bug a few days ago… it is not one now? I just tried with a new project and both MIDI and internal synth OFF messages are being pasted properly in midi tracks and normal tracks. Im so confused! Can anyone else confirm if this is now working for them? not sure if it’s the new project or the fact that I don’t have headphones plugged in? Im on the note-mode beta 2.1.0 beta 1 build 1153
He mentioned the note-mode beta, which would be specific to the Mini.
So maybe there’s a fix available, but it isn’t merged yet to any of the other betas?
If so, it should make its way to the other trackers as well at some point.
Yeah I only have the mini. I figured out something new though!
There seem to be two types of ‘OFF’ note values that can be put in, as far as the software is concerned – because they behave differently! One of them works to copy and paste wherever you want no matter what track you’re pasting on or copied from, one of them doesn’t paste at all. I have taken a video to prove this weird behavior.
If you put in the note using the bigger — [minus] button then it does actually copy over. The OFF signals don’t work if they were not entered in manually using the — button (eg, midi controller, or the new note mode live entering) and i assume this also applies to the main pads on the tracker + if you guys aren’t able to copy notes at all. This is so strange! if you enter them in on the tracker mini using live rec with note mode, or anything but the plus and minus buttons copy and paste doesn’t work. This also applies to FAD and CUT (not sure about midi though since i can’t get a midi controller to enter that in for me)
