Really nice to see and it loaded up without any of the workarounds required to deal with splash screen freezing experienced in the previous beta. Keep it going. Looking forward to using the play even more.

Nice oneā€“looking forward to seeing the Play+ get more support as I think itā€™s the best Polyend machine by far.

Such a unique and fast way of making music that unfortunately feels a bit neglected compared to the Tracker.

I was one of the people struggling the the ā€œsample folders disappearing on startupā€ bug so I will report back if this solves the issue.

Sorry, i donā€™t understand this comment. What do you mean by this?

I mean that the Play+ is (in my opinion) the best compositional tool to come out in the last decade. The speed of creating loops and ideas is 100x faster and more musical than any other groovebox Iā€™ve owned.

I just think it needs a bit more love to be the best it can be:

  • MIDI performance features coming out of beta
  • A proper GUI for editing synth parameters
  • A better form of pattern chaining
  • A mixer page to easily control synth vs sample levels as opposed to diving into the Synth menu and adjusting the gain

I spent about 4 hours with the Play+ yesterday and this beta is great. No more crashing when loading a sample pack. No more random freeze ups. No disappearing sample folders after a reboot.

The stability is there now, just needs some QOL features to make it the machine it truly can be.

This is great news !
Thanks for working on this release.

What solution did you find for the finger drumming, is it on the ā€œnote modeā€ buttons or on a track ?

Is the finger drumming performance recordable ?

You guys rock! Excited about this one. Sorry to be a Debby Downer but my dog just got diagnosed with lymphoma, litterally on my 35th birthday. Can everyone wish her well, send a prayer, drink a cold one, or whatever it is you do for stuff like that. Hell, burp, I know it feels good, so it must be good energy. Or donā€™t, itā€™s ok, I get it. Hope everyone is having a better year than me. Get out there and make some noise

Enjoying the latest beta, it really seems to be stable.

One thing that bothers me, though, is that selected tracks reset each time I quit perform mode. I liked the way it worked before, where I could quickly switch between a normal and ā€˜mangledā€™ arrangement by pressing the perform button. Now I have to re-select tracks each time I enter perform mode which breaks the flow.

Iā€™m with you. Play + is the best compositional tool that Iā€™ve ever had. Every time I think about buy a Digi elektron machine ( I have an original digitone) I remember that the sequencer in P+ is light years ahead. I was blown away with the elektron sequencers at first, I thought it was revolutionary but now I think that compared with Play+ is clunky and I want the instant gratification of Polyends machine.

The only thing that Is hate in Play+ is edit synth patches. It was a nightmare for me and never used it.

I have a tracker mini too, and two original trackers. Iā€™ve using tracker mini without synths because the edit problem but today morning I was absolutely blown away how easy is to use the macros and synths.

All my music now has polyend machines as base. You can blame the company for a million of things if you want but they are the most innovative that exist right now. Thanks for make that absolutely amazing devices.

Will the USB audio issues be fixed in this release? This is way more important to me than new features.
