Play 1.6.0 and Play Plus 1.2.0 Beta #3

RELEASE NOTES

This is the third beta for the upcoming Play OG 1.6.0 and Play+ 1.2.0 releases. It includes additional crucial bug fixes.

FIXES

• View Keyboard: Hanging notes occurred when playing an octave out of the range of the currently selected steps
• View Keyboard: Changing an octave was not possible when a track or step was selected. Impossible to change octave when a track or step is selected
• Freeze(Red screen) was possible when editing Synth engines
• Synth: Patch Macro values loaded incorrectly after reboot

Beware that beta releases might introduce new bugs that may lead to loss of work, data corruption, performance degradation, or crashes. We recommend backing up your SD card before trying the beta.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

1. Download and extract the firmware file above.
2. Copy the .ppf firmware file to your Play SD card > Firmware folder
3. Optional: save your current project to avoid any potential data loss
4. In Play navigate to Settings > Firmware > Update Firmware > .ppf file
5. Click the encoder and confirm with Yes
6. After the update, create a new project to initialize the config settings.
