More options for Live Input from MIDI source.

What is the problem?

Right now there are options to record Velocity and Microtiming from MIDI into the 2 FX slots during Live Recording, but no other MIDI inputs are allowed.

What do you want to achieve?

The ability to use more options like the ones in the synthesizer mode. Specifically MIDI CC 3 Finetune primarily, and then the others like CC 1 Cutoff, CC 11 Resonance, CC12 Overdrive, etc.

Having the ability to substitute Microtiming for example, for something like Microtuning would be very welcome.

Are there any workarounds?

Manual input one FX step at a time after live recording.

I would like to be able to use the Mini Keyboard - Mini MIDI Keyboard 3 I’m building to do this. It works great right now for “auditioning” pitch bends, but then I have to go in and manually add it after recording.

Any references to other products?

Not sure about this one.

I am really looking forward to this device and really hope the devs do too. But for everybody with midicontrollers out there i think any cc should be able to be live recorded. Hope this gets voting status :slight_smile:
