Tracker+ no new feature, abandonware?

When did I say that? I literally post the problems that I have had with the machine? How else can I describe the midi input bug, and the frequent, random crashes that happen ?

Yes!

What does this even mean?

If they release a stable operating system, will I stop complaining and reporting issues with it? Yeah, I will stop complaining about the bugs they fixed, because those bugs will be fixed.

The thing is that you keep on repeating these things, everywhere, all the time, in a very non-constructive manner. Can you not see that? Calling the Tracker+ abandonware certainly isn’t helping your case.

Okay, you have fun telling Microsoft, Apple, and every other developer in the world to stop calling their software/hardware “stable releases” then.

Constructive means being helpful, not negative.

Twice. You said it’s your 3rd T+

Hope your bug reports were more accurate :winking_face_with_tongue:

Lol what?!

2 threads? Over the course of more than a year?

Where else should I bring these issues up? These bugs are already reported, and i’m not even the one making threads for them.

I can’t even address the other points, because they are not points at all. If you don’t want to see my posts, just close your eyes.

If they fixed these issues, nobody would be complaining.

I feel like im in some sort of bizarro world in this forum, with the responses i’ve seen trying to gaslight me into believing that my unit actually DOESNT have problems, and I SHOULDNT talk about it, and if I DO, I need to do it in some arbitrary way that includes praise for this company and ‘community’, and beg the developers fix the problems, of course, if they have the time, because they are really doing some great work.

wild stuff !

Dude, I’ve seen your posts on Reddit.

Also, I’m very curious to see your replies to this: Tracker+ no new feature, abandonware? - #22 by Sandroid

And once more: I’ve never claimed you aren’t having the issues you say you have.

It means “will you stop spewing uncontructive hate because we all have various issues with the devices, but at least Polyend puts forth an effort, even though it doesn’t happen on a time line youre happy with”.

I think it’s fair to say we get it. We’ve all run into various issues here, some clearly more frustrating than others, but venting that frustration does not make these things go away any faster. Clearly there are things you like about the device, else you wouldn’t feel so passionately about it crashing. I totally understand. There were a few songs that would make my play+ crash and, man, did that just ruin my excitment to write with it, but i brought it up here (as well as a few others) and the mods were super responive and helpful with getting it sorted out. Sure it took about 6 months to fix, but its fixed now and that’s what matters. We can ask for a problem to be looked at, of which Polyend makes an honest attempt to do, but we can’t expect them to solve our problems on some imaginary timeframe. Some things just take longer than others. So either relax and make for constructive, realistic conversations, or sell your gear to someone that will and go find that magic device that does exactly what you want and the developers have an ear glued to your lips. The choice is yours.

This person gets it🤘 I just put a vote in for it. I think a diagnostic mode would be incredibly helpful.

I am going to keep commenting in the polyend forum ever few months, til there is a stable operating system

Do you think they keep it unreleased just to spite us?
Clearly it isn’t ready, or finished. Maybe they want to surprise us with something new in there?

Have fun with that😂

That sounds like a hardware issue, because everyone - including Youtubers and reviewers - would be complaining about them constantly.

Contact support & arrange sending your device to them for inspection.

We get notified when someone’s post is flagged. The post you are referring to was only recently flagged and was dealt with accordingly. Also, it’s the weekend (long weekend for me!) and us “unpaid mods” put a bit less time in so we can get up with our other passions in life

People from Polyend should invest less time in the forums and more time coding.. Just saying

It’s actually quite rare that anyone on the coding side communicates here on Backstage.

Just putting it out there, but patience is a virtue. This attitude of instant gratification, I want, me me me and then throwing the toys out of the cot because updates are not coming along at the rate in which one demands, serves nobody on here.
If what you want isn’t in the current update yet, then get creative and come up with a temporary work around until such time that it does.
Multiple times polyend has stated that updates will come, and they will. The bugs I had with my tracker got patched up over the time, and it’s now running beautifully. Try and have a little patience.
