How do feature requests work + some helpful links (Top / New Feature Requests)

As once in a while these questions pop up, i figured let's do a Feature Request Q&A with some additional helpful information. Feel free to ask a question if something is unclear or there is no answer to your question.

 

Creating a feature request

1. Users can create a feature request in Feature Requests
2. Once a request is created it becomes immediately votable
3. The Moderator Team will review and correct them if necessary.
   They may also ask some further questions to help clarify the intent of the a feature request and to make it as clear as possible.

Voting

• Voting is done via a small box on the top of a request:
  
  
• Each user can give out a max. of 15 votes
• If you have reached your limit but want to give a vote to something, you’ll have to remove a vote from one of the features you already gave a vote to.
• When a feature request is closed, you will receive one vote back.

 Please keep in mind that adding a like or does NOT count as a vote.

How do the categories work, specifically would “synths-playplus” also relate to Synth, because some/all engines are the same? So would I have to add that to some of the wishes for Synth that releate to engines, or would a moderator do this?

That is a very good question - thanks for asking @Lizard-of-Oz

All we ask for is that you add tags for the product(s) your wish is for.

You don’t have to worry about the specific component tags.
Polyend and us moderators will take care of that.

Good question, the Polyend Legacy Page describes the Polyend’s mission:

to create innovative music hardware.
