Arpeggiator Function for MIDI / Synth engines

What is the problem?

An arpeggiator function is common among most synth devices and a very common way producers develop ideas.

The Play+ does not have a built in arpeggiator while he function is already built out on the SYNTH device.

What should this feature achieve?

The Play+ should have an arpeggiator function on the synth / MIDI side of the instrument.
The notes developed from the use of the function should be recorded into the track steps for further editing with repeat modes and synth automation.

Are there any workarounds?

Manual programming of arpeggios is possible but takes more time and lends itself to less ‘Happy Mistakes’.

What is the problem? There is currently no Arpeggiator mode on Play. What do you want to achieve? An arpeggiator mode would assist the user with creating and recording more melodic lines on the Play, specifically with playing/recording held notes one by one on subsequent steps. Are there any workarounds? Just wanted to be certain, but… there’s no arp function in midi mode on the Play, correct?
