i love combinations of hardware, eurorack, and general electronic weirdness.
tell me how you rock.

same. the tracker is my brains for everything. from eurorack, midi instruments to old samplers and an amiga 1200.
My sound Canvas
wich samplers do you used with your tracker?
currently i’m very happy with my old Yamaha SU-10.
mainly Octatrack, but also synths
thanks for your answers
could you send to it some midi message to play one or more sample(4 voice of polyphony i know) with one track of the tracker
that’s an interesting choice, i respect it.
Yes. Each pad maps to a note of course though. Pad 1 → C , Pad 2 → C# and so on. You can however change eachs pads note that it listens to. So yes, you could trigger 4 samples with one note.
to answer my own question: controlling my Dark Energy II has been a real to my sound. but the modular options are what i’m looking forward to in the jext couple years.
BUT, i really want to fire an old Akai with it
cool
buying my first rack synth to use with PT. the Akai idea isn’t that far away.
I just got my 4 channel dj rig to play nice with my Tracker. NI TraktorS8 midi out to the tracker for sync. Tracker audio out to a DJ channel. Tracker sending midi to my eurorack via the poly2. Eurorack mix out to a DJ channel. Allows me to preview the sequences via headphones and mix them into tracks seamlessly. Add all the great traktor fx on top of the eurorack. I can now create on the fly sequences that sync up harmonically as well as match the bpm of tracks I’m djing. With the Traktor DJ software I can even sample sequences on the fly and layer things up.
It’s different but super fun and way more interesting to watch than a DJ with his arms up in some cliché DJ pose.
Debating getting a Play to maybe replace my Tracker for quicker sequencing and polyrhythms.
tracker + microfreak = insanely versatile, compact and portable audio workstation, great for travelling
this is very effin cool!
portable audio workstation is a keeper
I’ve found the iPad to be the perfect combo, no to directly use with one another, but just to sample an endless array of synths etc with. Granted the iPad itself is not a cheap item (though an iphone could also be used), but once you’re over that hurdle, the endless stream of affordable synths etc just make it manna from heaven for sampling notes into the Tracker to then construct songs from.
With a class compliant audio interface you could also have the Tracker just directly playing the synths over midi too.
Hi!
I find the Organelle or the Mod DuoX are nice companion to the Tracker.
They can both power it and receive midi messages from it via USB, and make bottomless sources of voices and effects.
