I thought it would be nice to have a place on the forum for us to hangout while we wait.
To get conversation going some questions:
When did you order?
What are you looking forward to most about the mini?

I personally havenāt ordered yet, but i will pick it up as soon as it becomes available with my local retailers.
I think the feature that i am most excited about is stereo samples hands down. I think that will make a huge difference to how your tracks can sound like.
Thanks for making this fun thread
Ordered in April direct from Polyend.
Iām most looking forward to carrying it everywhere with me. To go on a hike, pick up samples and then in that same moment make some music with the sounds collected from that very spot. The idea of having a field recorder picking up sounds then take them out of the moment bring them home, take the time to upload and then work with them well after the time of collection seems like a lot of work before you can make music with those sounds. I mean I can still do that and Iām sure Iāll probably have to at times or maybe Iāll even want to but ill have the choice to play with sounds right inside the environment they came from or take it home for later. So sweet. So many things Iām looking forward to about it but thatās the one I imagine most.
What about you?
I havenāt put down an pre-order yet but thinking about it. The tracker is picking up steam down here as multiple music stores are stocking them now.
I said a lot of my thoughts in my video about it. Big time LSDj user however I am wondering how much of the workflow has changed on the tracker mini, and would my tracker series be useful to tracker mini new comers?
Also how the tracker mini competes in the handheld tracker market? Just feel spoilt right now with hardware trackers
I ordered the day it was announced, but sadly from a third party, because the Polyend site was completely non-responsive.
The portability of the Mini is the biggest appeal for me.
I never really cared about portability before but I find myself making much more music with the Mini.
Someone at Superbooth said, āthe best field recorder is the one you have on you.ā - I really feel this, I never took my Zoom field recorder anywhere but the tracker goes all over the place with me and I already have a pretty massive field recording library on the Mini.
Bummed because it sounds like I wonāt have mine shipped until august. Thatās what the retailer is saying anyway.
I think the benefit is that you can record and see what the sound produces and not guess what you think it could sound like.
I very much enjoyed your video on the mini and canāt wait for more. As a new to tracker person, Iāll need all the help I can get. Very excited to dive into this type of music making. Would
Love to see any more content about this fantastic device. I preordered mine last week from Perfect Circuit. They are saying end of July delivery. Thank you again!
Cheers Jan, Pretty sure software wise there wont be too much different to what I show in my tracker tip series. However as someone that works with complex software and knows the pain of āwhere is that buttonā. feel the tracker mini might need a separate series.
Currently in the planning stage for a few videos for the Play then back to the OG tracker. I feel if the tracker and tracker mini projects are cross compatible, not just OG tracker > Tracker Mini (know there is a power difference between the 2 and would be some problems going from tracker mini > OG Tracker). It would do well in my workflow. I want it because of its portability and microphone, keep it in my bag all the time and finish the tracks on my OG Tracker. I feel its a great tracker, however both hardware units are hitting different markets.
I wonder if its on Polyendās roadmap to release a software version of the tracker?
I look forward to your content. I enjoy how you present your work flow and how these amazing devices work! Appreciate you getting back to me. Thank you! Iām excited to get into all of this.
I really enjoy using the PT, but could never get ācomfortableā with it other than having it flat on the desk. Too big and sharp-edged to kick back with.
So, I am most looking forward to it being easy to hold two-handed relaxing on the couch!
I ordered too late to make the first shipment so Iām expecting mine in August.
Not sure if i will be ordering one , inflation/recession/cost of stuff , so my priority now is some sort of machine that i can run audio trough to enhance embellish my sound and finally release all the tracks i have been making. so next thing maybe the analog heat .
I am curious about the size comparison tho, can someone post pictures here of the two side by side? the tracker this size with all the portability its interesting.
But really looking forward to the updates, i hope they include some sort of way to enhance the sound.
Anyone here selling the og to fund the mini? Im seriously considering it.
It looks half the width and a little shorter.
I am curious about the sample content provided with the Mini, if there will be any of courseā¦
Thatās what I did.
