One day, I simply turned on the synthesizer, and it wouldn’t start and it gets stuck on the loading screen, with the power button becoming unresponsive.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
I tried performing a hard reset (holding the reset button and the power button), and a recovery procedure was initiated, but it didn’t help either.
As I noticed, this error started occurring frequently after I uploaded my own samples into the Grain synthesizer or used patches created from my samples.
Have you tried different cables and power outles?
I only used the original cables from the box. It seems like my synthesizer just died for some unknown reason. I didn’t do anything special with it.
Interesting, my usb cable is black.
Make sure you have a good firmware file on usb when you press reset.

You clearly have a Teenage Engineering branded cable running into it on your picture.
I would still try different cables, power outlets, etc, just to see if it makes any difference.
Hooray! I found the issue!
It seems there was a glitch with the last working session. After I deleted all the files in the “workspace” folder, the synthesizer started working again.

don’t know who the developer is, so I’m passing this valuable information to you. This was what caused the problem with the synthesizer, and I’m sure you’ll find the reason.
Yes this fix seems to be working for a few others that @Sandroid suggested this too as well in other threads. I think the team is aware of it too.
If you can reproduce the behaviour with that exact workspace folder, please create a bug report and attach the file there!

I’ve already done a lot of work finding a way to restore the synthesizer without returning it to the manufacturer. I think others will encounter this problem as well.
Neither am i, so i think i’m not asking for too much 
Brother, have some mercy, I had a epic bug battle and claimed victory, but I’m completely exhausted. 
Could you support me and create this wonderful bug report? I’ve even attached a folder with the file. I was already thinking of sending my synthesizer back to the factory.
