Hi, can you share some acid/303 patches for the DIRT engine? I’m having trouble programming them. It seems that the filter envelope amount has only a few % of usable range. Thank you.
DIRT is fantastic. The filter drive options would be great in the other engines, e.g. VAP - filter drive makes a big difference to character.
However, I seem to have found a bug… MIDI trs clock + transport seem to be ignored / not recognised when using my Novation Circuit Tracks as master.
I’m curious if you have;
a. Sent the Circuit Tracks clock out to another MIDI device without any issues?
b. Sent clock to the Synth using another MIDI device without any issues?
Yes, controlled the Waldorf Protein with the Tracks yesterday and use it to control my eurorack via Mutant Brain on a regular basis.
Just tested sequencing the synth with my Digitakt 1 there with no issues.
Hi, is this annoying bug also fixed in that beta? It was first reported in February 2024 on the Play+, but also affects Synth.
Hi Lizard-of-Oz,
This was the first thing I tested when 2.0 came out….and guess what, it is not fixed. It’s even worse, they introduced new bugs with the modulation. I have both the Synth and Play+ and they have the potential to be great machines, but the modulation matrix is just not workable. It’s full of bugs, not logical values and misses essential routings to make these synths worth it.
It’s a shame that Polyend keeps pushing new devices and engines without solving all the issues there are with firmware versions first to make there instruments actually usable.
there were no changes made from the beta to the final release, zero. they have the same hash signature. the files are identical ![]()
How you finding the Protein? How’s it stack up against the Synth?
Hard to compare as they are different beasts really. The protein is an instant classic for me though.
Sadly this isn’t working correctly. It freezes synth sometimes for me. Can we get a fix for this asap @Mitch ![]()
