After firmware 1.4.2, projects made in the previous firmware cannot be opened.
The boot process begins, then everything freezes, you have to unplug the power cable to turn off the device.
If you have a project to share, I’d be happy to try to load it on my end.
When I’m near the device I’ll send you the project
This is the project
I’ll give it a run tomorrow and see if I can reproduce your issues. Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays
Hi @dinoel.volro , thanks for reporting the issue and sorry for the inconvenience. We are looking into the problem and we’ll inform you about the outcome. Thanks for your support
Has this been figured out? I am running into this problem with a project I need to get opened so I can track some synths I have sequenced on there. I don’t have the old firmware file anymore (nor can I find it on the Polyend website!)
Hi @a.radder , sorry you’re having problems with Play. Although your problem might be different root cause, after analysing this report we figured out it is exactly the same issue as Freeze whilst loading sample packs, folders or files which exceed 32 char The fix should be included in the next update. I am attaching older firmware if you want to try it out: PolyendPlay_v1.4.1.zip (1.1 MB) Please backup your project before you continue so you always have a copy of it safe. Finally, there are some workarounds mentioned in the other bug report I shared, you can try those also, but please remember to backup before also Thanks for your message and patience while waiting for a fix
Bless you!
@here I’m glad this issue was fixed with the latest firmware update
