Hey @andrej.mitrovich you are absolutely right. It is a bit unusual but very much explainable based on the freedom where you can places notes/instruments/synths - as you also noticed.
Regarding Synth Muting:
In my opinion the only way to simplify things would be to make sure you only allow one type of “instrument” on a track (sample, synth. midi). Which i personally would hate to see
