Smooth Step Transitions (Crossfade/Curve Options)

Hi there!

I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same idea. Could you explain a bit more about the AI across the length of all the sequence steps  ?

But the source of this reflection is exactly what you mentioned!!! For now, when we press play, it naturally tends towards a jumpy/stutter effect (which I love), but adding smooth morphing, or even a mix of both within a sequence, could be awesome in terms of texture evolution.

It could be implemented in the step menu (accessible by holding the step button), with a second menu accessed by tapping on a knob (using the same logic we have for switching pages in the track view).

The top-left macro could control the IN transition shape (ramp up / ramp down / square), with the top-right knob controlling the curve inclination. Same thing with the bottom-left and bottom-right knobs for the OUT transition.

If the transition were applied to the value, that would be awesome (although it could raise some questions with delay effects, as they would react differently if we changed the value progressively).

If the transition is applied to volume instead, that’s totally fine with me and seems easier in terms of resources?
