Smooth filter motion similar to Moog Murf?

Can the Mess do smooth filter motion similar to the Moog Murf?

I think not. It’s been mentioned in video reviews as one think that would really warrant an update.

What is the problem? For some fx (like filters) it is nice to have smooth transitions between set values, like turning knobs on a filter and so on What should this feature achieve? Smooth filter and redux sounds and so on, even better, set step 1 at 100, set step 16 at 0, let it automatically smooth anything in between. Could be a switch as option: xfade/no xfade Are there any workarounds? No Any links to related discussions? – Any references to other products? –

I see there are several requests for smoothening options, along with LFO, speed and depth parameters … waveforms would be nice too.
These things would make the Mess a lot more usable for me as guitarist. The abrupt, blip and bloops sequences get tiresome really quickly.

Another thing I’ve learned, the Mess does not have analog bypass, you need a loop to keep your signal analog even in bypass.

These things have put my purchase on hold.

Hey, dunno if it overlaps the @ben.norland request, but there’s the one I’ve posted Mess Synth Request. For my part, I think it is possible to achieve a great live sound design with a perfect tracking by improving the filter section. Movement could be emulated with phaser, vibe and all.
