Sample Pool instead of piano Roll

It would be awesome if the piano roll would have an option to play sample pool in a folder instead of different notes. This way the user could experiment different sound combination, a bit like using pads. It would be limited to the buttons available in that configuration.

It could be enabled as a 3 stage toggle with the view button, with a different color for the sample player. There could be an option is settings to enable such a toggle.

This way external devices could also trigger different samples.

What is the problem?

Lack of finger drumming style option on the Play

What should this feature achieve?

Offer the option to experiment with different samples during creative process. Let the user create is own sample pool.

This would combine the randomization strenghts of the play with the hand on creative process of the Novation circuit or MPC

The time tends to vary, but usually from a couple of days to 2-3 weeks. It should be followed up by a post from Polyend Staff informing if the wish is ready to be voted on or if it has been declined.

good idea ! would like this option . also that is a good ,loop thing,alternative . you have to cut your loops outside of the box and put your slices into the play and use this function for the things that people use who ask for loopslice functions :slight_smile:

Within this feature, it could be interesting to hold one of the button in the “sample roll” and modulate or change that specific sample.
