Rename sample file in SD Card to mark favourites

Hi

I think the possibility to rename sample file in SD Card will be very useful feature for most of tracker users.

What is the problem?

Many of files have similar names and it’s hard to remember our favourite sounds.

What do you want to achieve?

Renaming the sample file may be useful to mark the favourites in folder. For example, adding the prefix would sort them at the top of file list.

Are there any workarounds?

Yeah, to remember file names and search for them a little longer.

Hey there @pitmast, thanks for submitting your wish! Quick question for you. Would your wish be aiming more to be able to rename files or rather is it to be able to mark samples as favourites? Like let’s say in the future Polyend implements a “mark as favourite” feature that puts an asterisk next to the sample, would you consider your wish fulfilled?

CUT/COPY/PASTE (Browser, Sample Editor... Everywhere)

Many of the other user requests could be addressed at once with the addition of cut, copy + paste throughout Tracker. What is the problem?
