What is the problem?

When naming tracks I like to use Capitals and small letter combinations. This is little tricky when repeating clicks of CAPS LOCK.

Request is that make SHIFT to turn Capitals on while pressed.

What should this feature achieve?

Quicker and natural typing text where needed

Are there any workarounds?

Now pressing CAPS LOCK before and after typing capital

Any links to related discussions?

Im newbie, so please add if there is

Any references to other products?

This can be same in all tracker products?

A while ago i made a similar feature request that is a bit more detailed and already has some votes on it.

If you find that proposal better, i would love to have your vote for it and then we could close this one as a duplicate.

I also opened a feature request for the MESS for better preset-naming functionality.

Specifically, I requested an “insert characters” capability - so as to update/adjust a preset name by dropping the cursor in the name without needing to delete characters to reach the point where the adjustment is added.
