Open the sourcecode for the Poly 2 to the public

The Poly 2 is still a much beloved MIDI to CV Module in the Eurorack world and it is safe to say - and DO correct this if wrong - that Polyend has moved on from Eurorack Modules.

We would like to officially ask Polyend to release the source code for the Poly 2 Module so that the Eurorack Community can possibly maintain or even update some of the features found on the module.

What is the problem?

There are still some wishes in the community that most likely will never see their way onto the Poly 2. For example a way to disable scale quantization all together.

What do you want to achieve?

By opening up the source for the Poly 2, community developers could take a stab at giving the Poly 2 a second lease on life.

Are there any workarounds?

Reverse Engineer the existing Firmware.

Can you bypass Poly 2 Quantization? (or import custom scales?)

Hello all! I’ve been looking for a way to bypass the quantization on the poly 2 and I haven’t one… I have custom scales via Oddsound MTS ESP and I have to re quantize them with Ornament and Crime after the Poly 2… Have I missed something? Thank you all if you have answers =)

Poly 2: Aftertouch issues

I’ve been using a Poly 2 for a while and encountered a very strange issue involving aftertouch. It seems that an aftertouch message received on any channel can interrupt any incoming midi messages, even if they are not on the same channel. the way I’ve replicated this, and narrowed the problem down to the poly 2 is: I have an Octatrack, and a Keystep both running to a midi solutions merger. @Sandroid thanks for your wish. At this point we are not ready to support this idea so we have to decline it. I hope we’ll be able to do such things in the future.
