OG Tracker, gate on reverb external input?

Hi all,

I connected my Headrush MX5 (line level) to the aux in of the OG tracker (firmware 1.9.1).

I enabled the line in reverb and turned it up.

The reverb only engages when I play really loud on my guitar.
When I play softer notes then there is no reverb at all.
When I strum really hard then then the reverb blasts through.
It seems like there is a gate on the reverb input.

Has anyone ever seen this behaviour?
Is this intended?

Cheers,

Yaire

Hiya, yes I know what you’re talking about and I also find this annoying. It depends on the project I’m working on, but if the audio I’m feeding into the Tracker/Tracker+/Tracker Mini varies a lot in volume, the quiet bits don’t engage the reverb and the louder bits do, so you can get these jarring volume increases. It’s noticeable that it’s not the same with internal audio, but I wish it was the same as internal audio, so that ALL external audio in makes the reverb engage, not just audio at a certain threshold.
