Morph between two presets

What is the problem?

I’d like to pick two presets for an engine, and use a knob (or MIDI CC) to blend from one to the other. when I find a place I like, I’d like to be able to save that as a new preset, or within the current scene.

What should this feature achieve?

Obviously that would be a great way for creating new sounds, and great for performing, too.

For normal parameters, morphing is just interpolation between the two parameter values. However, since Synth is not designed for morphing, there is no way to morph between discrete parameter values (like Glide Mode, Filter Model, LFO Waveshape, Oscillator Reset, Source and Destination in the mod matrix), so those would have to not remain static during a morph, otherwise they’d all toggle simultaneously in the middle of the morph.

And while in theory it might be nice when waves or wavetables are morphed or blended, too, a way to select whether those of the source or destination patch would go a long way already.

Are there any workarounds?

No. On a synth with one knob per function, I could invite all my friends to help me twist the knows, but here we have pages and encoders.
