I see this mistake very often. Not specific to Polyend gear, but across the entire music gear scene.
I truely believe you should never buy a device based on what it could become and only based on what it is right now. Assuming what could be is the killer of joy.
So take this as friendly advice from someone who’s been there before

Here’s my personal take/philosophy on this:
I think the wishes are a great way - as you say - for people to express the features they desire, but it is by no means an obligation. Nor do i feel that we as customers are entitled to them.
What we are a 100% entitled to, is that a device works as intended based on its actual advertised capabilites. And the same is true for any features that a company adds down the line. Anything else is the proverbial cherry on top.
