What is the problem?
There’s currently no way to trigger individual instruments from the eight buttons beneath the screen. Adding this capability would make it much easier to build percussion patterns and perform beats or sequences on the fly using multiple instruments. This would complement Note Input mode, which is primarily geared toward melodic sequencing of a single instrument.
What should this feature achieve?
On the Pattern screen, press Shift + Instr to toggle Instrument Input mode.
While in Instrument mode, you can change the set of available instruments by holding Shift and using the first and last buttons beneath the screen to scroll through the instruments currently loaded in the project. This works similarly to Note Input mode, but is designed instead for one-shot triggering of current loaded instruments.
