How do I audition perc instruments other than kick?

Hi guys, is there a way of auditioning anything ofther than the kick when I am sound designing perc instruments?

Hey @dan.wink, welcome to Backstage!

On the Mini my solution so far has been to just:

• Sequence a simple line for the regular synths
• Create a simple beat for the PERC synth.

Have that running and tweak the sounds as it goes.

Another possibility to audition your current PERC sounds would be via a MIDI Controller.

As of right now there is no other way.

Since this is a pretty straightforward request, i’ve went ahead and created a wish for it:

Simple way to preview all PERC elements while editing

Allow preview of the other PERC percussions when tweaking properties by playing the currently active percussion in the editor. What is the problem? Currently when trying to audition/preview the PERC synth, it always plays the Kick. It is currently not possible to preview/audition any of the other percussive sounds without the help of a sequence or an external MIDI Controller. What should this feature achieve?
