Currently there aren’t many envelope or lfo shapes available for automation.
This wish proposes to expand this functionality by adding wavetables as envelopes / lfos.
Background:
XAOC devices Zadar module has revolutionized the way users can use envelopes.
Their wavetable envelope system is absolutely brilliant and it could make for a welcome addition to the tracker.
- Zadar has 256 wavetables of envelopes which can be looped to generate LFO style functions.
- Each shape can be bent left or right, and it can be bent upwards and downwards.
- The user can also select any position within the function to serve as a sustain value.
In this way the user has far more control over an envelope with only a few knobs and without the necessity of a mouse.
What is the problem?
It can be difficult to edit or modulate an envelope to achieve certain effects but the XAOC Zadar wavetable system makes it extremely easy using LESS controls than a typical envelope. The design is simply breathtaking.
