There are always people who sell gear, and gear with a niche workflow more, as „Trackers“ does not fit for everyones mindset.
Coming example from MPC requires some adjustments to the creative mindset. (Speaking of my view)

I could use that case…trying to find one of these seems next to impossible atm…
just wanna raise my hand to making me add to the count of the affected people . not everybody who reads that topic writes something to , even if he or she is affected by this or that
Yep, another frustrated Mini user here.
I really enjoy making music on this amazing box,and am continuing to create some interesting noises while using the bug workarounds.
I’d happily buy a Tracker+ in the future too,I just click with the workflow, even though the bugs are a nuisance currently!
Hopefully the firmware geeks at Polyend are working their socks off to get things sorted soon.
Sorry, but this post really feels in bad faith. Yes gear gets sold every single day from all corners of the market. Do a search for Elektron in fb Marketplace and you’ll get a wealth of results.
I know that this might seem manipulative, but perhaps images of products for sale could attract even more attention and encourage the company to think about changes regarding new updates and bug fixes. There’s nothing worse than when you can easily sell any kind of equipment.
I think your reasoning is flawed here: There would be “nothing worse” than ebay being full of Polyend products that sell way under value or even just don’t sell. Last time I’ve checked that wasn’t the case.
Am I a little bit annoyed about the pace of firmware updates: Yes, I am…
Am I very annoyed about companies bringing products to market which are buggy or even lack any sort of q&a testing: Yes…I hate it. Before the internet was a thing that most certainly would’ve meant that you just bought a lemon, because firmware updates just didn’t exist (for the most part). Nowadays it seems that companies are okay with releasing half-baked software because: “we can always fix it afterwards”… I’m very annoyed by that…( I truly am: I’m a Push 3 owner…so better believe me…)
Despite all of that: Do I think that Polyend is a bad company delivering bad products? Nah…I don’t…I’m having a blast with my Tracker…and tho updates trickle in rather slow, I’m sure Polyend is listening and are taking note of what the users want (and yes…we also would appreciate a faster development cycle… )
If you can easily part with a musical instrument, it’s unfortunately for the manufacturer. Something that truly becomes valuable to you is either something you don’t sell, or you do so only out of necessity. Everything you love, you keep in your studio. That’s exactly why I don’t want to sell my Polyend.
But if the situation doesn’t change, hope will fade, and along with it, the Polyend will disappear from my studio.
I would just store it away somewhere if you really can’t work with it right now. That’s what I’ve done with my Push 3, and now Ableton has 2.1 in beta and it fixed a lot of what I was complaining about. The Push 3 is a beast but it shipped with lackluster software. I didn’t sell it tho, because the potential was clearly visible. Maybe it’s the same with your device.
And if not, sell it. Somebody else will happily buy it. (and no…that’s not meant to be a snarky remark)
it has been mentioned before, but opensourcing the firmware would likely help polyend improve quality and protect their reputation in a big way. there are a lot of big brains that use these machines…
Didn’t Synthstrom do it like that with Deluge? I’d like that!
Let’s see what happens after the new year. If in 2025 they don’t release a decent update and fix critical bugs… then you can’t expect anything good.

I still believe that the people at Polyend act in good faith. So I’m almost 100% sure that updates and fixes will drop sooner rather than later. With that said: Good night everyone!
I saw at least two users above claim themselves as „software developers“ that is a good start for a new chapter
I’ve counted six software devs in this thread already, including myself. Apprently this kind of devices are popular among software engineers because they’d like to stay away from their computers outside working hours.
That’s why I personally didn’t like the Tracker that much. It felt like another computer to me. That screen and computer-like buttons and excel and whatnot
I so get this sentiment, but in a slightly different way.
I think partially why the Tracker flows with me so much is because of my excel skills, and my efficiency with it. Where it differs for me is the outcome where one is making a couple of execs, richer and richer, the other one results in fantastic music.
It’s a bit of an analog to like playing a factory-building game. You kinda take what would be a chore and make it hella fun way to exhaust copious amounts of dopamine!
I noticed my post was blocked. I didn’t mention ChatGPT or call the developers lazy, and I gave Polyend credit for creativity. What I did criticize was management, for prioritizing feature development over necessary bug fix releases, and I will die on that hill as a software engineering manager myself.
Sad that that was enough to trigger being blocked.
If this is what you are referring too, then it wasn’t us:
As i said before, i will protect your right to voice your opinion as long as it remains civil.
I’ve already read a couple places outside of the forum, that are claiming for foul play and that Polyend or us moderators are willy nilly deleting posts.
This is absolutely not the case. And i take personal offense with anyone saying that.
The core of the Polyend Tracker is inspired by a software [example octaMED] that is running on a computer [Amiga]. So if it felt like working on a computer, then it hitted the hotspot…
