What is the problem?
Discussed further here:
User on Reddit discussing this as an issue they thought was so bad they should return their Tracker+:

The Tracker+ will frequently make large “jumps” if it detects that you have sped up your turning speed of the encoder. This makes it hard to dial in specific values on the Tracker+, as the threshold for when the Tracker+ decides to “jump” is quite finicky and sensitive. It makes the overall experience of using the Tracker+'s encoder far worse than it was in the OG Tracker. Please see the videos linked in the backstage post.
This was not a “feature” on the OG Tracker and thus never an issue on the OG Tracker.
What should this feature achieve?
- Allow users to disable this “acceleration curve” so the Tracker+ behaves similar to the OG Tracker
and/or
- Allow users to adjust the sensitivity of the acceleration curve to make it more usable
Alternatively, the acceleration could be disabled for specific functions. Note selection and adjusting mixer/volume would be good candidates for that imo
Are there any workarounds?
Use the OG Tracker instead of the Tracker+
