Add mutes on song page without editing them into a pattern

What is the problem?

Often the only thing changing between one pattern in song mode and the next is the status of track mutes.

The Elektron song mode allows the user to edit track mutes for a song mode slot independently from the mute states in the pattern which the song page slot is referencing.

What do you want to achieve?

Avoid creating redundant patterns simply to mute or unmute channels in a song.

What is the problem? When you are in Song mode, your options programming slots or tracks are binary: either you have an active cell or no cell at all. You can only delete, and the changes are destructive (although Undo is possible). What do you want to achieve? A more flexible Sing mode setup thanks to the possibility to mute and unmute cells in Song mode. Thanks for your contribution and effort put into this wish. Unfortunately, after careful consideration (which took a long time, sorry) we decided to take design of Song mode in another direction. We are working on some workaround and improvements which might bring solution(s) to your problems, but in another way. Thanks for understanding and patience.
