Current Random Note implementation in Chance is truly random (conforming to Scale filter). It can create sudden very high or low notes. This is interesting for percussive tracks but not very useful for melodic tracks. Implementing the 1 Octave and 2 Octave options from Randomize in Chance will create more useful random notes for melodic tracks.
What is the problem?
When using random note in Chance on melodic tracks, it creates random notes that are sometimes suddenly too high or too low octave jumps. This makes Chance random note less useful musically.
What do you want to achieve?
Chance random notes that are not too far from the melodic notes I input (within +/- 1 or 2 octaves)
Are there any workarounds?
