What is the problem?
Polyend Tracker can currently only see .IT and .MOD files
What should this feature achieve?
The ability to load/Import .XM and playback the files, like we currently can with .IT and MOD files.
Are there any workarounds?
You could maybe use some software to convert it from .XM to .MOD files.

Extra?
XM, standing for "extended module", is an audio file type introduced by Triton's FastTracker 2. XM introduced multisampling-capable instruments with volume and panning envelopes, sample looping and basic pattern compression. It also expanded the available effect commands and channels, added 16-bit sample support, and offered an alternative frequency table for portamentos.
XM is a common format for many module files.
The file format has been initially documented by its creator in the file XM.TXT...
Thanks for the wish @gravedraq . Hope you don’t mind, I moved the Fast Tracker Wiki to the “Related Products” section, and added a link to the XM wiki in the Extra section.
That is ok, thank you Dan.

@gravedraq Thanks for your contribution. Unfortunately, the wish doesn’t fit our current product design direction.

That is fair, I thought it would be a easy-kicker, when you already had .IT and .MOD extension
