Why is the Polyend Play + Plus Better than the Syntakt?
why u think of a competition ? i think everything has its pros and cons and people have to decide for themself what fits best to them and the way of how doing their things …
also is it hard to compare a sampler with a pure synth and a 800€ price with a 1000€ price
in my opinion both things are cool machines but i decide for a play cuz i love to play with samples

Honestly, the biggest perk the Play has over the Digitakt/Syntakt is portability. I can bring it in bed, hook it up to my phone charger, and keep making music, or I can take it on the plane and hook it up to my phone.

Totally different, you can record live on the Syntakt and it has a different workflow. They’re both fun! But yeah - I do wish easier portability on Syntakt rather than a MyVolts adapter thing, quite nice with Polyend USB > whatever battery pack. Easy!
