Why are VAP LFO frequencies called "Ratios" in the Play+ 1.20 firmware

In the UI for VAP, the LFO frequency settings are referred to as “Ratio”. This certainly seems to be incorrect terminology. It’s not a ratio like one would refer to in an FM modulator. It’s just the simple frequency of the LFO.

The same goes for the WTFM LFO’s. They also have a “Ratio” setting instead of Frequency.

This is all the more confusing considering that the ACD and FAT engines correctly use the term “Frequency” for their LFO’s.

You’re seeing Ratio in those engines, because you have Sync turned on which will display the ratio of the time division.
When you turn Sync off, then it goes back to "Frequency "

Ah thanks!

Given long enough, that might have occurred to me.
