Seeing the Mini also makes me think about Bluetooth or some other way to send/receive MIDI wirelessly. Someone should test USB accessories to achieve that and see if it works.
Same for sending audio via USB or the audio out to wireless speakers and headsets, which are commonplace these days.
This Mini doesn’t seem to like cables.
