We need the notes with beat slices highlighted

When a beat is sliced, users on the Mini have no way of knowing where the slices live. We know they live in the notes section, but what notes do they live on?

What is the problem?

Sliced beats are hard to find in the note page.

What should this feature achieve?

This feature would add a color change to a note in the note page, that contains a slice of a beat.

This would be a nice quality of life improvement, that would make trackers more accessible to everyone

Are there any workarounds?

No

Any links to related discussions?

No

Any references to other products?

Lots of other products highlight a change that has occurred. Actually the Tracker has white silicone buttons that highlight to let you know where the beats are. This would be similar except it would be on the screen as opposed to silicone buttons that the mini doesn’t have.

I agree. This is a must. I have been told the slices start on C2. This is different then the PT+ and OG Tracker which start on C6. This requires more work which kills that workflow vibe. When you click Note you only see C3 - B6. You have to press be C3 then Minus - down to C2 etc etc etc. Please fix this to enhance the Mini Tracker Workflow.

I have tested out several different beats loops and they almost always start on a different Note. I think it has to do with the amount of slices, which is exactly why we need it represented in the notes page. Now people that are already familiar with this workflow, and layout, wont mind not having a way to see where the notes start. But people that are just getting started, like me, would greatly benefit all additional help within the system itself.

@here Thanks for your wish. It’s now ready for voting
