What is the problem?
When editing parameters it can be hard to tell which ones you’ve previously adjusted or have different values to the others. The only way to check is by shift-pressing a pad to see what value a given parameter is.
What should this feature achieve?
I propose that the brightness of the pads show the approximate value of whichever parameter is currently selected. That way you can see which steps have roughly which value at a glance, then select the pad to check it’s actual value.
Are there any workarounds?
None that I know of (aside from shift-selecting pads one by one)
