I know this isn’t possible. But would it be feasible. to program this functionality into the trackers? I have an OG tracker and a mini, and I do miss the tactility and smoother workflow of the tracker. Sadly I bought the mini not long before the tracker + came out and can’t afford that now. But I also like the mini form factor.
Just checking if i’m the only one who thinks that would be a good idea, and if it would be possible for the makers to do.
Not possible, the jog dial and buttons don’t send midi data. It would be a huge undertaking to collect all the information and pass them on through usb or trs.
So in short, no way. One day you’ll get your hands on a PT+, switching projects between mini and PT+ 100% compatible is also good for a seamless workflow.
I am completely with you on that. I have the OG tracker, the OG play, and I snapped up a mini right away because it had all the stuff I thought I needed (stereo, synth instruments, battery power, etc.) but I’ve never been more productive, fast and creative as I was on the OG tracker. Guess I’ll just have to invest in the plus.
I feel the same way. Unfortunately, that won’t happen. But since the Beta Version with the Nore input, I don’t find it so bad anymore. But it would still be great, of course.
I wound up getting the tracker +, as I found a good deal. The hell with the GAS, and who needs 2 kidneys anyway!
