Synth parameters can be sequenced/automated right? For sure it must have LFO,s?
I badly want that fm synth!
[EDIT: This paragraph is not correct, see replies below] I don’t think the upgrade option exists anymore. You will need to buy a “full” Play+ and maybe sell your old Play, if you don’t want to keep it.
The synth parameters can be sequenced via the macros. I suggest you read the manual in advance, to understand exactly how macros work, as it’s probably a bit different from what you would expect.
Some of the synths have LFOs. Again, consult the manual to understand how they work, as it’s not necessarily how you are used to work with things on other gear.

Just to clarify. As far as i know there has not been an official statement that upgrades are discontinued. They are just sold out at the moment.

You are correct Sandroid. Looks like we have a few in stock, no plans to discontinue upgrades at the moment. But if you can’t order on the website it is because it is out of stock!

Please don’t discontinue the upgrade! I’m one of many that got a used original when the plus released and am waiting for finances to make sense to buy an upgrade!

Same here… im getting it for the FM engine and stereo samples. 400 is much but doable…
I read it. Macros is just a simple way to get parameters to knobs as i understand it.

It seems the update kit is (only) available through the Play+ product page, not the Play page… maybe that’s why some owners of the OG can’t find it.
