When using the Perc synth is it possible to change the pitch of any drum hit on a per step basis like I can do with a drum audio sample?
For a kick the manual says note C4 triggers the kick, but it supports pitch via notes C0-B8. I don’t know how to set two note values on a kick track (or any Perc drum sound). It seems only C4 and C#4 trigger the kick, but any other note triggers a different drum sound in the synth. After creating a kick step I tried setting a pitchbend value on the step, but that doesn’t appear to do anything. Is there a way to change the pitch of a Perc drum sound on various steps in a sequence?
Thanks. I tried creating a pitch macro for my kick drum and it is sort of working. For some reason only new work steps on an existing track would recognize the pitch macro I setup. Even if I removed then re-added a work step in the same spot it seems to ignore the pitch macro. I’ll have to try a new project to see where the bugs are.
It is odd that using the microtune/pitchbend or the random pitchbend chance action has no effect on the pitch of a Perc drum hit.
