Bug Description
This may be intended, or simply a processing limitation, but when in Performance mode, with a transposition (e.g. of +3 semitones) added to a synth track, this works as intended until Step Repeater is also added, at which point the tuning keeps stepping up by +3 semitones with each Step until a new note on the sequenced pattern is reached, then it repeats the adding +3 semitones etc… So, rather than pitch shifting / transposing all notes by +3 semitones, it continues to add +3 semitones to each subsequent note.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a synth track. Track 1, Part 1, init WTFM synth (also applies to ACD/FAT/VAP/PERC)
Add notes e.g C5/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/C5/-/-/-/D5/-/-/-
Press play
Switch to Performance view.
Set Performance options for Tune to — / +3 / +5 / -2 (for example)
Set Performance options for Step repeater to — / 2 / 1 / 0.5
Select Track 1 in Performance mode and transpose tune by activating Tune +3
This should sound good, just transposed by +3 semitones.
Now also activate Step repeater to 1 or 0.5 (or smaller) for most obvious effect.
The step repeater not only causes the note to repeat at it’s transposed tone, but it then continues to apply the transposition to each repeat so the note heard goes from +3 to +6, +9 (until the next note in the sequence is played).
To me, this doesn’t seem like the intended or prefered behaviour, I want the note to keep repeating at the intended Step repeat frequency, but I really don’t want the transposition to be added with each step repeat too!
