Tracker-plus not powering on

I bought my Tracker + brand new on 7/1/24 and as of today on 10/4/24 my Tracker + will not power on. I have tried different cables and power banks and nothing has worked. My Tracker + has been in the same place inside my home since purchase and has never been moved! I cannot wrap my head around this! I’ve owned a ton of gear and I have NEVER had something 3 months old die on me like this!

Hey @blakex4000 welcome to Backstage  and sorry to hear you’re having troubles with your T+ :people_hugging:

Make sure to directly contact customer support. I’m sure they will help you out.

Couple questions:

  • Do you hear an internal click when trying to turn it on?
  • Do any of the lights come on?

Nope… No noises or lights whatsoever. Still no response from Polyend either.

I guess that submitted such issue on a late Friday is just unfortunately bad luck:/

Hey,

I had the same issue, the Tracker+ attempted to power on, there was the audible click, but no lights, no display.

Did you buy direct from Polyend? When I messaged support they sent an RMA and I returned the device, they sent out a new unit.

If you purchased elsewhere, I would assume the warranty is with them and they would replace it for you?

what @gravedraq said is accurate. You’ll probably have to wait till monday for a response as most companies are closed over the weekends here in europe. Sorry.

I had mine replaced this week, it had a usb fault. Andertons in the uk where really good with it, i called and the next morning it was collected and swapped for a new one. Brilliant. Mine clicked and turned off when i changed the usb mode to audio in out, then it refused to start up, mine did work with a power bank, that got it working again but usb functionality was dead.
Good luck, i hope its sorted quickly

Mine just died too :pensive:

I was working on it using a power bank (I’m not sure if it’s “smart” or “intelligent” but it was real cheap - $20, so I guess not?). It was working fine for an hour or so and then it just randomly froze. Completely non responsive (not even the power button). I then just unplugged it but now it doesn’t want to switch on at all. No little click, no lights, nothing. Feels bricked.

I have no idea how this happened. Does anyone know if the wrong power bank can brick the device? Or is it something else perhaps? If nothing responds, I guess all I can do is try to send it back?

What’s the model of the powerbank?

Also yes, send it in if you can or contact customer support.
