Tracker+ original SD card not useable

I bought a refurbished Tracker+ from Polyend and only now had the time to check it out. Unfortunately I was not able to normally power on the device out of the box. It would not react on power button press it seemed but when holding down the power button for a short while it powered on and gave the message that no SD card was found even though it was there.

When using the SD card dongle to connect the card to a Mac it could not be seen but a pop up gave me the option to initialise the card using disk utility. After some failed attempts at erasing the card, as it was just hanging on waiting for the partitions to activate, I tried to download the SD card formatter tool from the SD card org and it gives the error in the attached screenshot.

It is the original card with the Polyend logo on it.

I tried to connect my Tracker Mini SD card and it works just fine, so I am guessing this new card is just broken either from ‘the factory’ or by the previous owner.

Is there any way to get the card working?

i backed up my card and im waiting for it to fail although its not done so yet. but these micro sd cards are destined to fail eventually. it is what it is. get a high endurance card for a replacement

I did have another card that I could use but even on a refurbished unit I would expect the card to be working. It was bought during the Black Friday sale.
