A little visual test. I’m out of free hands and feet, so the crafty Polyend Tracker Mini’s handling that via MIDI to OBS (’cause I can’t afford Resolume). Audio’s meh, straight from my phone, but that’s not the point, right?

Your videos look dope! So you’ve actually mapped the tracker or was it postproduction in AfterEffects or something? Love the music as well.
For now I’ll stick with OBS since it’s more than enough for me. I do my own pre rendered animation loops, so I don’t really need anything more than blend in/out effects. Still - it was worth checking. And good to know that there are some alternatives for Reso.

It‘s projection mapping live onto the Tracker.
So there’s no post production, what you see is exactly what the cameras captured.
Here‘s a early test:
You can actually see the MIDI commands sent on Track 3 in this case 
The projection framework i built listens for MIDI signals from the tracker and controls the scenes and individual parameters. It also listens live to the audio for FFT analyzers and so on.
For the second video (the story driven thing) i actually just did a screen capture of what the framework outputs, but again all the scenes are entirely controlled by the tracker and it‘s all recorded in one go.
Oh yeah, totally! And even in OBS you could probably still go nuts with some code or conditions. But if all you need is some in/out signals you are perfectly fine with MIDI and some commands in OBS.
