I am still learning the ropes but several things are throwing me off:
If I cue the pattern to change after present one is finished, then press performance and do some cool fx, the pattern does not move on? Kinda makes the performance effects a bit redundant? I have to quickly do some effect then press pattern again otherwise the pattern does not move forward to the cued one… Makes it all a rush and hard to do something interesting..
If I select all the steps in a pattern, press an FX button to select all the FX steps, then Hold the FX button to select an Effect it does not add or change any of the steps? Even if there are already FX steps in there, I select them all, hold FX and try to change to a new FX then nothing changes? It would be very powerful and just make sense with the work flow if this was possible…
I am getting more and more into the device but then some things just seem plain missing or broken, things that ARE part of the work flow.. Why would I be able to select all the FX steps at once and not be able to change what Effect they are? Am I missing something?
It’s a very valid point, and unclear if this is working as intended or a bug. Would be worth looking into.
Sorry, I’m not in front of my Tracker ATM, but I believe that if you hold down SHIFT and then hold the FX button, your selected steps will then cycle through the available FXs using the jog wheel.
@jdominicjackson I logged a bug based off of your feedback. If there is anything I missed, just reply in the comments and I’ll add any appropriate info to the report.
Hi thanks I wasnt sure if I was doing something wrong how come no one else is concerned that the performance mode cannot be used to introduce a new pattern.. seems there are a lot of bugs that are not being addressed… thanks for your help this looks good I’ll reread when I fully woken…
Wow thank you i never knew about the Shift + FX move! That’s huge! i am having an absolute blast holding down shift and fx while taping through the fx types on the white keypads
