One more question ;). Hopefully i do something wrong. But i can’t figure out how i can send a track with all its steps to say the reverb. When i push a track button, go to reverb an bring up the % nothing happens. I can only send single steps to the reverb which has 2 big drawbacks. First it takes forever. Second its easy (big fingers) to hit something wrong or delete the step. Which is again not so good because if you put the step in all the new confugartions are applied to it.
Same here! I can set step effects say reverb or delay etc, can set punch-in effects for whole song, but not track based effects. I believe it should be possible but haven’t succeeded yet. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but what? Incidentally I’m using a touch screen stylus pen to operate individual buttons as my fat fingers don’t agree with the spacing of the buttons.
I believe the only parameters that are applied to the entire track are the last 4 which are specified;
Track Length
Track Speed
Track Swing
Track Volume
I would very much like to see an option to select all steps on a Track.
In the manual ist this written: “Parameters are available when a Track is selected in Track View. Parameters can be edited for a selected step by Pressing or Turning the (Effect) Knob. Applies to defined steps or track.”
So i think it was at least meant to be able to get the effect on the whole track. If this is not the case, this should be on the list for a not to far future update too. Because applieing Reverb on every single step is really not ideal
No I don’t think it’s meant for that function. The manual states;
Track / Step Parameters
The behavior for the steps in each track can be edited when in Track Mode. A track must be selected, and the (Effect) Knob can be used to edit the step parameters for the track. Note that existing steps will remain with the settings as originally placed unless edited. Some options can be set for the entire track.
I very much agree it would be a great improvement. Maybe something as simple as double-pressing a Track button could selecct all steps in a track.
Or just when you select a track. Like the there are two “volumes” (i am not on my Step so i can’t see what the right name is).
You have a volume for the track and volume for each step. It could be made the same way.

I found out something very interesting. If you use a Expresson Pedal to adjust Reverb, all Tracks get routed to the Reverb send. Kind of cool but not the same
