What is the problem?
When you are creating a sequence there’s no way of creating a tied note. You can add a blank note by tapping shift but not a tied note. Maybe a long press on the shift button adds a tied note instead of a gap?
What should this feature achieve?
Allow more useful sequences.

Apparently there’s something similar on the microfreak sequencer.
