The versions of the Tracker OG

Hello, I’ve heard there are two versions of the Tracker OG. Could you tell me the exact differences between them? Which version is this particular Tracker? Thank you

There is actually more than two versions :wink:
That said.. the major differences only existed between the MK1 and MK2:

  • MK1 had squared keys (see image)
  • When turning on/off the MK1 there could be a loud audible pop.

Everything after the MK1 has rounded buttons and that audible pop was fixed by adding a mechanical relay to the audio output. Which is why you hear a clicking noise when you turn on/off the device.

Any other differences after MK2 were purely because of component availability and make no meaningful difference to the device.

Regardless of which version you have, they all function the same.

So based on that info: you have atleast an MK2 or newer. :blush:
