Step FX for Synth patch change

It would be awesome if there was a step fx to change the loaded patch for a synth slot.

What is the problem?

Currently you are limited to 3 synth patches for the 3 available synth slots (per song).

What should this feature achieve?

The ability to change the synth patches by pattern or even during the pattern, in order to have more synth sounds available per song.

Are there any workarounds?

Manually change the actively loaded patch during playback.
